At twenty-nine, Victoria Blackwood has everything she worked for, a thriving auction house, a respected name, and a future she'd built with her own two hands. Until one scandal threatens to bring it all crashing down. Determined to restore Blackwood Auctions to its former glory, Victoria sets her sights on out manoeuvring her biggest rival, Damien Sterling. But between extravagant galas, a detective neighbour with an unhealthy obsession for impossible crimes, and headlines dominated by a thief no one can catch, Victoria suddenly has more problems than she knows what to do with. As reports of missing jewels and vanished artefacts send the city's elite into a frenzy, suspicion spreads through every auction house, private collection, and charity event. No collection is safe. No security system is untouchable. With the most anticipated auction of the year fast approaching, everyone is searching for answers. Some are chasing the truth. Others are chasing opportunity. And sometimes, the difference between the two is only a matter of perspective. After all, the impossible was always tempting. Or perhaps... simply not enough.

Henry summons help from a different world when Neal and Peter encounter minions of the real Azathoth. Arkham Files story #11. Penny Exchange follows the events in The Shark of SoHo (Caffrey Conversation series) and Queen's Gambit (Arkham Files series). This story is a crossover between Caffrey Conversation and its meta-series spinoff Arkham Files. In Arkham Files, White Collar characters are fused into the world of the Cthulhu Mythos. No prior knowledge of either White Collar or Lovecraft is required. Although Lovecraft is a master of the horror genre, in Arkham Files the emphasis is on science fiction and fantasy with a generous sprinkling of romance. First names are the same as in White Collar. Neal Caffrey is known as Neal Carter. Peter Burke is Peter Gilman. In addition to Neal and Peter, White Collar characters include Diana, Mozzie, Elizabeth, June, Sara, Jones, and Hughes. Neal and Sara are both a few years younger than their New York counterparts. Disclaimer: This story is for fun. I do not own White Collar or the world of the Cthulhu Mythos.
