Drake H. Johnson is a black-american living in Seattle with his mother Vanessa L. Johnson, who is a widow. At the age of 20, his mother tells him the truth about his father death, stating that it was Gaston D. B. Walker, the CEO of the Negro Registration Act (NRA) who shot him in the head after making his life miserable. After hearing the tragic story of his faher's death, he joins a revolutionary group created by his mother who desires the annihilation of the NRA. This group sends Drake undercover at New York, where the Walker family currently lives. He becomes a double agent whose sole goal is to acquire information about the NRA which will help the revolutionary group reach their ambition. He becomes also a student at the New York Universty and so does Rebecca T.Walker, the daughter of Gaston Walker. His mission is to befriend her, gain her trust and acquire information from her. Irritated by the fact that her father has this father's blood on his hands, he finds it difficult to do so whilst Rebecca, unaware of her father's occupation, wants to be his dear friend despite their differences(race). His past haunts him everyday and he hates Rebecca but later falls in love with her. Their feelings for each other will later face the war between their families and races. They face a terrible ordeal. They witness a lot of bloodshed, conflicts and of course total chaos. The two blocks finally end up having a consensus thanks to the unbreakable bond Drake and Rebecca share.
