Early 2025. Almost a year after the events surrounding the Flag Smashers and the former/new Captain America, John Walker, now called the US Agent, Adelaide Barnes thought things were going to be more normal now. That is until she starts dreaming strange and frightening visions, largely surrounding her sister Wanda Maximoff, who she hasn't seen since the events in Westview, New Jersey. Not to mention, she's been growing her powers, and has now figured out how to use a form of light magic that she has coined 'serenity magic'. Try as she might, she can't ignore these visions, until she gets a call from Doctor Steven Strange in New York asking her to come to the Sanctum Sanctorum immediately. Not knowing what she might find, she leaves for the heart of New York, taking the next adventure that is handed to her.

The world should be right - but when is it ever right with three Avengers trying to seek a normal life outside of being former heroes and villains? Bucky's returned from five long years being snapped away, and is now trying to make amends by going to government mandated therapy for his actions as the Winter Soldier. Adelaide regularly goes to therapy and PTSD-oriented groups to help with her multiple issues following both her actions as the Winter Phoenix and the events of the war with Thanos that happened less than six months ago. Sam struggles with the bank trying to take down his and his sister's livelihood, their house and the family boat. He also has to contend with five long years of also being snapped, coming back to a sister with two young nephews. He's also wrestling with the legacy of the shield, what the now elderly Steve Rogers stood for as Captain America. But there are more surprises coming their way... far more than they expected. And a whole hell of adventures to be shared. But whatever they do - they're doing it together. The Falcon, the Winter Soldier and the White Phoenix.

After the events of Adelaide, Bucky and Sam Wilson's fight against the Flag Smashers, the world was more different than ever before. As a result of Bucky Barnes releasing Baron Helmut Zemo from a Berlin prison, the Wakandans placed a temporary ban on Bucky and Adelaide returning to Wakanda. Then Adelaide became a vampire, thanks to her multiversal doppelganger, and things changed further within the nucleus of her and Bucky's small world. Then she was possessed by the Angel of Death, shortly having it removed after the slaughter of several hundred souls. Her mother passed away after a long battle with cancer, leaving her heartbroken, but her resolve remained stronger than ever. But now T'Challa, the King, the Black Panther, is dead, and in a show of loyalty and solidarity with the Queen Mother, Ramonda, and the young Princess Shuri, Adelaide returns to Wakanda for T'Challa's funeral. But she may just get pulled into much more than the funeral of a king - and what happens may change her journey even more.

Adelaide Lehnsherr-Barnes hasn't felt like herself for a very long time. She's thinking maybe she should have walked away from this life, of bearing her father's legacy as the eldest daughter of Erik Lehnsherr - of Magneto. She hasn't even felt like a hero in a very long time, not since she started sliding that very slippery slope into morally grey territory. To be honest, she never thought of herself as a hero. But when a new danger comes calling along with an unusual team of misfits and rejects - and one superpowered human she didn't exactly bargain for... she isn't interested in playing hero.
