After several years abroad, all Nova wants is to return to her home country of Skyrim and live a peaceful life. She returns to a country at war, where she has few allies and fewer friends. After surviving a near-execution and a dragon attack, her life will change forever. (All characters but Novariana belong to Besthesda, as this is fanfiction from the video game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim")

Elyn Belledara had always wanted to be a Mage. Her whole life she had dreamed of travelling to Winterhold and going to the College. Finally, fate has given her a chance, but she won't be going alone... unfortunately... and Elyn has a secret, that is about to be exposed. Skyrim is at war, it's Ulfric Stormcloak against General Tulius, Stormcloak versus Imperial. But while Skyrim is being torn apart... there are other curious things going on in the beautiful, majestic land... ...and a myth just burned down a village. A thrifty Argonian, a vengeful Redguard, a friendly Orc and a magic obsessed Breton... all living in Skyrim, but in a world of their own making. Most of these characters don't belong to me, except the four mains (of course) and there will definitely be several other of my own original characters, but everything I use belongs to Bethesda... I'm just a sad, lonely gamer with no life and a horrible, killer obsession.

This is a book that uses real quests, and real land marks in the Elder Scrolls universe. I tried to make it as Lore Friendly as possible. Sadly, Prisma, Aquaria, and Vapor, will never be seen in your game. Unless through PC modding. Come to think of it, this becoming a big quest mod would be a hell of a lot of fun. Where, you, as the dragon born, got to help these three witches on their quest to destroy The Moon Shard.

Toralf 'the Fearless' comes off as the typical brand of moron with an ego twice his size. He grossly exaggerates his accomplishments and can scarce resist the opportunity to chime in with a crass remark or innuendo during a serious conversation. He's loud, obnoxious, self-assured, and at times insufferably dense. So why would an individual so seemingly attached to his asshole-ry seek to join the Companions, a faction with a reputation for honorable conduct and stewardship? Though he seems ill-suited to be one of Ysgramor's fabled fighters, there is more to Toralf than the unlikable persona he so readily displays. Not only is he a capable fighter, but has an almost fatalistic loyalty to those he fights beside. Plagued by a storied and not quite dead past, he seeks to forge a new identity for himself in the halls of Jorrvaskr, to make something of his life about which he can finally be proud. In time, he could become someone more than worthy of membership. Will this young hero-in-the-making find a way to overcome his past poor life choices and rise to his full potential, or will his pride be his downfall? Can he keep his attitude in check long enough for the Companions to give him a fighting chance? [Part of the "Mageverse" - I'd recommend reading Mage (A Skyrim Fanfic) before this for best experience!]
