She was taken from her mother after birth because she had powers. Powers of controlling fire and ice. After the black and white widows took out Dreykov and the red room, they didn't know there was a lower red room level though where she was kept... Phoenix went on the run trying to escape her past and trauma. HYDRA and SHIELD were both looking for her, one trying to help, one trying to brainwash. Fury had sent the avengers to try to help her and bring her to the tower, but Nix thinks they are trying to kill her. She wasn't going to let anyone take her away again, she wasn't finna let SHIELD HYDRA Nor the avengers kill her. All she wanted was revenge, revenge on the people who killed everyone who has ever loved and cared for her.
