This story was inspired by Walt Whitman's poem A Song of Myself. He defines individualism and the unique experience as something transcendental to one objective truth. We ought to heed his words in virtue of its beauty and all-inclusive nature. Truly remarkable.

Bria's life has changed. Her now ex-boyfriend dumped her for her best friend. Shenow works at a sketchy corner store. Her co-worker terifies her. An old friend has made a reapperance after 6 years. Her Dad finally can take some time off work, and she has a potential scholarship. The only thing that hasn't changed is Bria herself. She's stuck in the past, and can't seem to escape it. She has to change with the times, or risk being caught in the past, unable to move on, becoming bitter and jealous. Can she change?

Ok so this is my first story and I'm not the best at this lol. Basically this story is about 2 summer lovers ( Ari and Mailani) who fall in love on the beach.

Rachel at the age of 18 deals with a drunk abusive dad who's never there, two babies whom never stop crying, the racial judgment of the white washed town she lives in, plus the high school rumors about her being a young mom, the stress of having two jobs, and to top it all off the stress of keeping the bills paid, food on the table, and clothes on her back. But she doesn't remember a day where she didn't have to deal with these things so of course she's use to it. But one day Ace King finds his mate which happens to be closed off, don't touch me, don't speak to me, don't even look at me, and no I don't wanna be your friend Rachel. Ace has to deal with the struggles of trying to get close to his mate and help her see just a little more of him besides his skin and money.

Dismissed from boarding school for unladylike behavior, headstrong Susie Phillips is sent to spend the summer in Camden, New Jersey with a famous poet who knows the secrets of the supernatural world. As Susie learns to see and talk to the dead, she's recruited to join the Lovecraft cousins, Scott and Alex, in hunting other creatures of the night. Dispensing of evil is no job for a proper young lady, but proper means nothing if you're dead...

When Madison, a cheerful and optimistic florist, gets dumped by her cheating boyfriend right before her sister's wedding, she needs a date fast. She doesn't want to face her ex alone, or deal with her family's pitying looks. So she asks Percy, the grumpy and sarcastic owner of the bookstore next door, to be her fake boyfriend for the weekend. Percy has no interest in romance, especially not with his bubbly and annoying neighbour. But he owes Madison a favor, and he figures it can't be that hard to pretend to be her boyfriend for a few days. He just has to act nice, smile a lot, and not fall for her charm. But as they drive to Harper's hometown, the large city of Milwaukee, Percy finds himself warming up to Madison. He likes her sense of humor, her kindness, and her passion for flowers. He even likes her quirky and meddling family. He starts to wonder if maybe this fake relationship could turn into something real.
