AftertasteofInsomnia
Every December, people are disappearing in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
When a grieving girl nearly freezes to death in the woods, she's saved by a monster that shouldn't be allowed to exist-and hunted by things far worse than the bears that everyone is warned of.
As families gather in snowboard cabins and creatures awaken at night, she searches for the truth behind what saved her... while fighting feelings for someone whose hands may already be stained with blood.
Some monsters kill to survive.
Others kill to protect their secrets.

This is a short story of warming up a frozen heart.

I will be publishing 2,000 word average chapters bi-weekly, and editing/shifting around old chapters whenever I see fit. My goal for this short novel is 20 chapters and 40,000 words total. I genuinely appreciate all suggestions and encouragement and I aim to respond to every bit of it in the best ways that I can.
