When Ace was doing a check on a demon radar one day, he runs across Ella's house, where she was completely surrounded by Spectres demons. After killing the demons and taking her out of the home, he realized that she just received her sight of their Shadowhunter world. She was completely scared and confused about everything happening around her. Everything hit her at once; Demons existence, rune powers, angels above, and the power of her kind in the world. Together Ace, Ella, and many others have to come together to find who is committing horrible murders and leaving their dismembered bodies all over the city, including Ella's own brother. Ella will have to find out how to truly be a shadowhunter and go on a mission to safe the lives of her kind and the human race all while internally battling her father's mind control.

One rainy night everything changed.

22 18 year olds go on a killer trip after they just graduated high school. They fly to Russia, where they rented a cabin in the woods. A killer, who has a Baba Yaga mask, is terrorizing them and is killing them 1 by 1. Who will die and who is the Baba Yaga? Who will survive the killer trip?

*wang! *wang! *wang Tila walang tigil ang sirena ng mga pulis pagdating nila sa International Academy. Agad na pumasok ang mga ito sa paaralan para inspeksyonin ang mga nangyari. May isang pulis naman ang nagpaiwan para maging bantay para sa kung anong posibleng mangyari. Tumingin-tingin sya sa paligid para maging alerto sa paligid ng may mahagip sya sakanyang paningin na kumikinang na bagay. Agad nya itong nilapitan at kinuha. Pumasok sya sakanyang mobile car para inspeksyunin ito. Isa itong DSLR camera, triny nya itong buksan, at bumulaga sakanya ang mga pictures sa crime scene. Iniisa isa nya ito hanggang sa may bumuong pigura ng babae malapit sa crime scene. Agad nyang pli-nay ang video sa sumunod na picture. "Ikaw!, ikaw ang pumapatay?!" sabi ng babae na nakatayo sa may tabi ng DSLR camera. Hindi ito kita pati na rin ang kausap nya. "Hindi ako ang pumapatay!, pero para sayo at sa mga kaibigan mo, gagawin ko!" naging malabo ang pagkuha ng video sa DSLR camera dahil nasasagi ito sa kumosyong nangyayari. Hanggang sa hindi inaasahan, tumambad ang mukha ng salarin sa camera...

Nabahala ang karamihan nang ibinalita ang mga patay na biktima, mga krimen na hindi alam kung sino ang may gawa. Ni isa sa mga pulis ay hindi malaman kung sino ang pumatay, paano nila malalaman sino ang pumatay? Lalo na kung malalaman nila na konektado lahat ng taong namatay. Sino nga ba ang taong makatutulong sa mga pamilya ng biktima na makamit ang hustisya? Meron nga ba? Malalaman din ba nila kung isa, dalawa o tatlo ang nasa likod ng mga toh? Halina't basahin ang kwentong naghahanapan, hindi hanapan ng anak kundi hanapan ng pumatay.
