Now present times she finds herself in a world that's almost completely foreign chasing information in an attempt to figure out the past. However, James and Ophelia were more than just best friends, they were in love and had been since they were young. Ophelia was the only person in the world who called James James. To the rest of the world he was known as "Bucky." With the war raging across the seas, James Barnes got drafted and was to report for duty with the 107th infantry. His life, however, got turned upside down when his unit was captured by a nazi organization known as Hydra. He'd been experimented on by none other then Doctor Arnim Zola. It is thought that was the reason he survived the fall and back into the clutches of Hydra. Ophelia was sought out by a German scientist Doctor Erskine because he needed a test subject to perfect the super soldier serum. It worked almost too well and she was sent to the battlefield along with the rest of the Howling Commandos. This is the first story I've written. It takes place shortly after Steve realizes Bucky is alive. A whole lot of Stucky fluff. Characters include Natasha, Fury, Sam and obviously Steve and Bucky. I hope you enjoy it!!
