Sometimes, we have trouble finding who we are in darkness and shadow. But sadness can't and will never hold us or show us who we have to be.

Long ago, Maui the Shapeshifter stole the heart of Te Fiti. But once he did, everything went wrong. As he was escaping with the heart, Te Ka, another who sought the heart, struck Maui down from the sky, losing the heart and Maui's fish hook. A mysterious figure had grabbed the heart of Te Fiti and disappeared into the darkness of the sea. Now, the darkness is coming closer and closer, swallowing all islands and destroying life. things in life that aren't ok are only fragments of our minds telling us that things are so tough, write down a situation you have been in or still are in and I will give you a new perspective. it may not be the best way to flip things around but its something to think about. Family bonds have never been easy to deal with they've caused nothing but trouble and taught her nothing but a corrupted meaning of love. Can she ever know the true meaning of family? Or true love? She slowly starts to have her past find her. Even so after she finds pieces of who she truly is she soon faces another issue. Will she go back? Or will she finally choose herself after her years of killings and hardships?

This is a story about a young girl trying to find herself, In a new world exploring her sexuality, and trying to be accepted. Neku struggles with OCD, bullying, and indecisiveness daily. As she is accepted into a new school she finds people like her, and through junior high finally finds who she really is.

This is a short free verse poem on how society can make people feel insecure about themselves, so they put on masks to hide their true identity. The message throughout this piece of writing encourages those who are fearful to just be themselves and to let them know that everyone is different in their own way.

Everyone has a part of themselves they keep hidden from others. They reveal more of themselves to some and less of themselves to others. If you think about it no one has ever shown their true self to anyone not even themselves. People will go on not knowing themselves not even in death. What's after death no one knows except the dead which can't tell us. The hidden part of them self is deep. Deeper will ever know.
