Tired eyes stared into the light, door on handle still. The fridge wasn't empty nor full, somewhere in the middle. He blinked once, then twice, then three times. The floor creaked and wind blew against the windows, why was he acting like this? Why can't he just let his friend be happy? ...the word friend hurt when referring to 'him', he didn't know why. He didn't think of the other as anything more or less, nor were they anything more or less. Just two friends, two dudes, two bros. This feeling of...jealousy? Whatever the feeling was, it hurt.
