It was obvious from Galinda's tone that she was trying to be insulting, but Elphaba was lost in thought. Right before Elphaba and Glinda meet the Wizard, the blonde and brunette divas that sang to them in the Emerald City Player's "One Short Day" Wiz-o-Mania pull them aside for a final few words of wisdom and maternal advice, wishing them well on their journey... (Wicked Movie 2024, the cameo had me internally screaming with joy)

Maybe Galinda was onto something when she said it wasn't about aptitude, rather, the way you're viewed, for all Elphaba's life, the things she did that got HER punished got others rewarded. She knew the word for it: double standard. Well maybe she would flip the script and stop caring completely. (Wicked Movie 2024 rambling/musing)

Y/n is Galinda's sister they both go to Shiz where they meet Elphaba. Y/n was the first of the two sister to actually befriend Elphaba. Later she meets Fiyero and the two develop feeling but what happens when Glinda goes for him as well. (In this story Elphaba won't be in love with him just for the sake of the story line) I do NOT own wicked I just love Jonathan Bailey

As much as Elphaba and Galinda might've liked to think of themselves as opposite, each girl superior to the other, the truth was that they were two sides of the same coin. All it took was a look to know, even though it took longer for either of them to acknowledge it. Denial, it seemed, was a favored method of escapism for both of them (Wicked Movie 2024)
