Glinda Harrington was named after her birth mother's favorite character, in her favorite book series. She could never be too angry with her mother over this because her mother had died approximately 8 minutes and 11 seconds after placing her at the front door of Glinda's biological father. The Harrington patriarch had wanted to send her away, he didn't like children, even the one he had inside of his marriage.
