Glinda Harrington was named after her birth mother's favorite character, in her favorite book series. She could never be too angry with her mother over this because her mother had died approximately 8 minutes and 11 seconds after placing her at the front door of Glinda's biological father. The Harrington patriarch had wanted to send her away, he didn't like children, even the one he had inside of his marriage. She makes delightful new friends such as, the Scarecrow (Jonathan Bailey) that needs a brain, a Tin Woodsman (Ethan Slater) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion (Colman Domingo) who wants courage. The wizard (Jeff Goldblum) asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West (Cynthia Erivo) to earn his help. This is based on other Oz adaptations, such as Wicked: For Good and the Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel. This book is a reimagined adaptation of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz that takes place during Wicked: For Good events.
