What if WickedKing and Outlaw Queen were the main ships of Once Upon a Time? What if, when Isaac rewrote everything, he made Outlaw Queen switch places with WickedKing? ***MAJOR WICKED KING SPOILERS (set two months after end of book)*** Back in the normal world, Jude is desperate to return to Faerie. So when the High King Cardan turns up unexpectedly on her doorstep, she sees a chance to use him to find a way home. But Jude and Cardan have been playing each other for a long time, and neither can hold up their charades for ever. The night will turn out very differently to what both had planned.

This fanfiction takes place in a period between the "Wicked King" and "Queen of Nothing" books by Holly Black (And so it should be known that all of the characters are hers). While we know what Jude was doing when spending her time in exile, no one really knows what Cardan, the person responsible for it, was doing. This story is my personal take on what could've transpired, including when he wrote letters to Jude, told from Cardan's very own point of view. So I wanted to do mine. And it's my first so be nice please. I'm a French girl who loves English and books so well it happened (the fanfic is in English don't worry). Emma and Killian go back in time, she gets to be a princess for a nyght, and they bring back Robin Hood's supposed-to-be-dead wife. Well, that's not exactly all that happened... They managed to accidentally bring back others with them, and they're not buying the entire "we're all fairytales" bit. Oh, and one of them is a fire breathing dragon. Yep, this is going to end well~ NOT!

Will she be able to make sense of what was done to her and piece together the enormous puzzle before her? Or has she given up on everything entirely? These are not necessarily my exact predictions of where Queen of Nothing will pick up when it comes out next year, but there are elements to this story that I think could play a huge role in the third book in the series. Jude has been kidnapped by Queen Orlagh. As a result, Cardan is forced to truly be king for the first time. Without his Seneschal he finds himself lost, angered -and even scared. Scared of losing her. *The title alludes to one of Cardan's letters to Jude in the third book. Enjoy!!
