Part one of my story about innocence and childhood and the transition from both in a small town in the 80s.

WOFFLE

"When did wiffle ball become so complicated? It feels like yesterday we were just kids, and now here we are. Freshman in high school playing the same game, but getting nowhere." Anna and Noah just started 9th grade. They've known each other since kindergarten. They ride the same bus and sit in the same seat. Anna has a secret crush on Noah, and she doesn't plan on letting that secret come out anytime soon. But when her secret she's kept in for 10 years gets spilled to the whole school, will she lose her friend? Or will things work out?
