Awsten was just a boy born in Houston, Texas. A nobody, really. He found beauty in everything. Even sadness. He was so convinced that the world was out to get him. Ironic that the world didn't even know he existed. He was alone, living every day as if it wouldn't go by fast enough.

Awsten and Geoff are best friends, they are finally old enough to move into a house but are quite shocked that this house was at a strangely low price, but hey, It's cheap why not buy it. He's going through his days mindlessly, awaiting the next sugar spike that will spark the start of this seemingly never ending cycle. His next sugar spike, comes at 11:11, in the form of a girl wandering around Target. Awsten feels drawn to her, intrigued in too many ways to count. The only way to get his feelings out of his system is to write about it, after consulting with his best friend and bandmate, Geoff. He writes an obsessive love song, which he finds himself playing on repeat, only becoming more infatuated with this mystery girl, every time he thinks of her. Elle Wright leaves her home city after a painful breakup, escaping to the other side of the world, desperate for a change of scenery. She didn't know that her new start would include becoming best friends with her idol. The two of them are finding their feet, learning to be alone again, and in that, they find comfort in each other. Though, they can't help the overwhelming feelings that after their respective heartbreaks, they may never bloom again.

Awsten finally gets a edgy girlfriend named Ozzie and they both struggle with difference and the fanbase but they will come out stronger right? ⚠WARNING⚠ : very short chapters but that's what they are suppose to be so

in which a 22 year old awsten knight from the band waterparks falls for 17 year old maisie williams after seeing her at a local show. they both think that they know how the other works. they don't. "without you I'm a lost boy." WAS NOT AWARE OF THE ACTRESS WITH THE SAME NAME, THIS STORY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HER. UNEDITED* update: so, this is super cringey but hey, must be good if it's the number 1 awsten fic ;) also it was started and completed in 2017 so there's that. note that all of the waterparks boys are 3 years younger in this story although it is in present tense. also note the au, meaning there's some other differences but not much, it's mostly going along with the age, but this is also a work of fiction (sadly), so I mean. intentional lowercase, frequent updates, and chapter get better (and longer) as the book progresses.
