Living in Mike's house, Will tries to be invisible, spending most of his time in the basement. Then the power goes out - and if there's one thing he dreads more than facing Mike, it's the cold. or Seven nights in which Mike and Will have to sleep in the same bed, even though they're barely friends anymore.

Will thought after he moved to Lenora with his family, he'd be able to move on from Hawkins, especially Mike. He still struggles though and when faced with seeing Mike again spring break, he knows any progress he made is gone.

The party continue to Invite Will to events so he's not left out, but they always do. Not meaning to of course, but they do. Will hurts everyday watching Mike and El fall for each other more day by day. But what Will didn't realise, was Mike feels the same. He's just good at hiding it. But, Mike soon regrets hiding it when something happens to his beloved Will.

due to will's abusive father, will starts to hang out with mike more, away from home, will then starts to have feelings for mike, will wants to tell mike but before he can a new girl comes to town. will starts to become depressed, and that's when everything unwinds.

1987. Will was still in the upside down. It's been four years and everyone just gave up on looking for him. Except for Mike. He knew Will was still out there somewhere, he just had to keep looking. Will couldn't leave him, he wouldn't. right..? ---- In 1983 Will Byers just vanished. No one knew where he went. Some assumed his brother killed him, others just thought he ran away. That wasn't the case. The Vale of Shadows, aka the Upside Down. Will was fighting monsters at the age of 12. Alone in a cold world that somehow looked like Hawkins, but disgusting, cold and dirty.

Hawkin's not the same anymore after it nearly collapsed. Will's memories still haunt him and not only. Can he open his heart to Mike who always sits beside him in the dark?

Two boys with Insomnia run into each other, Both struggle with bullying and their sexual identity. They each slowly fall in love from afar. Who knew freshman year of high school held so many possibilities? The characters look how they did in season 3, Upside down doesn't exist. Placed in the 80s but Probably won't be realistic.
