The summer following his junior year of high school was not looking great for Wilson Taylor. Firstly, after hiding it for years, he was outed as a Trans man, which, in this Texan town didn't earn him any respect. It only made him a target for bullying as well as the center of gossip for old people. Everybody hated him but his childhood best friend Bran, which leads us to his second issue. His embarrassing crush on him. It had been going on for as long as he had known Bran, and Bran was straight. He needed to make it go away. Brando Connell has always sort of hated himself. What's not to hate? He distanced himself from his parents because he couldn't handle being called sinful. He was quiet. He ignored his problems long enough to forget about them. And, most importantly, had been in love with Wilson Taylor for years. His future was not looking bright. Being gay in Texas was like personally offending everyone you walk past. Nobody could know that though, he was somewhat popular at school. He wasn't sure how that came to be, but he couldn't ruin it. He wouldn't ruin it. And, most importantly, he couldnt put poor Will through more than he already had been. ... What I think happened during and in between the wishbone trilogy music videos! A dumb mistake leaves Wilson glad he's moving away from his small Texas town. But unexpectedly he has to go back. Just for the summer. ⋆ Brando knew Wilson all his life. They were like brothers. However, when he hears Wilson is coming back he doesn't know what to do. ⋆ Filled with undiscovered love and the rush of one last summer could lead to anything.

They promised every summer would be the same. They were wrong. One year apart changes everything. When Brando faces a minor problem while driving, it causes a major debate in his mind-- who should he call for help? Should he reach out to his mother- who is hasn't spoken to in months? Should he take the miles long walk to find help? Or should he reach out to the one person who he was trying to avoid-- Wilson?
