But before they can figure out things happen, after all they are trapped in a world of heroes, tragedy, monsters, death, loss and Gods in which they have to fight, and it's better to stick up together... Brayden is a gay hopeless romantic living in Portland, Oregon. Being a writer his whole life, his high school offers him a front-page article in the school paper on Valentine's Day to promote the schools match-maker game. The only catch? He has a co-writer- and it's none other than his middle-school-bully-turned-jock, Garrett. Will Garrett's pessimistic views on Valentine's Day make the article impossible to write? Or will Brayden change Garrett's opinion-and his heart?

The Reaper turned to look at me. "I know that you know." Hearing his voice sent a shiver down my spine. It hurt. It hurt a lot. "You killed my sister!" I shouted angrily. He looked downwards. I had gripped my phone and dialled 911. "Go ahead." He said. "Call them." I hesitated. "Thank you." He said They were only two words, but they sent a lighting bolt through my veins. A phrase that I felt could lead to even death. "And sorry for bothering you." He made his way to the door, unlocking the simple mechanics and stepping outside. "Thank you for looking after me." He left and I stood there, slightly dumbfounded by what had just happened. Did I just become friends with a murderer? -------------------- A story about two boys who lived very differently from each other. One was a well known murderer. The other was an ordinary but possibly too perky citizen. It should be easy to tell them apart, seeing as you're here. You wanted to read something of this genre, yes? One day, a murderer gets himself in a sticky situation and seeks help from a random doorbell. Little did he know that this action would change his life and how he lived it forever. -------------------- So it's a pretty bad description. I suck at those. !TRIGGER WARNINGS! Contains murder, depressing thoughts. *note that I've had a person who had to pause reading the book for a while because they were in a state of "contemplating life too hard," also known as an "existential crisis."
