The story of this Italian herd of wild horses takes place in Sardinia (Italian island). Firmino is the lead stallion of a very special herd the last pure bloodline, the Sardinian Anglo-Arab. He was the only Anglo- Arab stallion introduced by the French, but a storm hit and the fires took the mens' lives. Firmino tries to carry on his legend with the influence of his son who may save them all from the touch of man and the chaotic changes that begin to occur on the untamed island. Will he save them all? Or will someone from inside the family be the downfall of them all?

Chapter 4 - "The Ribbon and the Gate" Lilly returns to the cemetery, searching for Mae's spirit - or maybe herself. There she finds that the herd isn't random; it's drawn to unfinished grief, to those who can't let go. Her mother's true involvement comes to light. Chapter 5 - "The Hollow Bride" Lilly begins transforming - her dreams filled with galloping hooves, her breath turning cold. The herd calls her by name, inviting her to join them as their new guide. Only spending the fall, winter and spring there. But do they make up their mind? Aurora worries about that one stallion who had changed everything. Will anything go right in Aurora's life?

When a young stallion named Arrow finds a hidden wild horse horse herd, far from human eye, he will discover the hardships and struggles wild horses face. And when a new danger threatens to tear the herd apart, will Arrow risk everything to protect the horses who saved him? Or will he turn back to his normal box stall life?

Because wild horses don't live there, the Native Americans have never experienced horses. In a study of human behavior towards an already domesticated breed of equine and the adaptability of the domestic horse, it is decided that a group of 41 young Icelandic horses and foals are dropped off on the point of coast between Oregon and California. Will these young horses from a breed renown for their strength, hardiness, and intelligence be able to survive? Told from the perspective of the horses, this story is set to uncover the truth.
