This is a story about a girl that moved from Oklahoma to California, and fell in love with a guy named Dee.

Terese's P.O.B ~ It all started one Saturday morning. I found out the worst new a teenage girl could find out, her parents were getting a divorce. ************* It had been two months since I found out and my mom, my older brother and my little sister were moving to north California. My little sister I'm kindergarten was super excited, but on the other hand my brother and I were upset and angry! We wanted to stay in New Jersey with our friends and family, and to finish the school year, but that didn't work out as planned. The worst part was what that I kind of knew it would happen. I knew because of how for the past few years, my dad would come home late, and ignore my mother. Leaving her sitting on the couch, alone. As we pulled up to our new house, I just took a deep breathe in and realized that I would have to start my life over. Then in the corner of my eye, I noticed someone, I took one glance at him and thought about how familiar he looked.

The first day at the new high school I lose my grip of my notebooks once my fragile body is pushed and comes in contact with someone's locker. I don't look up until I know they have gone away. I slowly pick up my books and walk around trying to find the main office. Once I walk in I am greeted with the smell of cinnamon and mold. I turn my head away as if that was going to help. Before I made it to her desk to ask about my schedule I collide with a hard chest. I look up to be meet with a pair of hazel eyes. His hair is puffy with a bit of quiff to it and he has bags under his eyes. He looks at me for a mear second and continues to set off where he was originally going without saying anything. I can't believe he didn't say sorry or anything, I mean couldn't he have at least tried to be nice to me or was he heartless.
