Mike takes the opportunity to figure Will out, but he could never have seen what was coming. Everything falls into place; everything begins to make sense. Does this mean what he had with El was never real? This fanfic is for those who need the comfort, the realization, and the happy ending. It leans heavily into both Will, and Mike's thoughts and emotions during these lifechanging moments.

- This is my rewrite of stranger things season 5 because the duffer brothers genuinely got a lobotomy or something before writing season 5. -The whole premise of the season is going to change as I hated the way they just "patched" up the massive gaping hole -I am mostly going to focus on Mike and Will's POV because I want them and the main four to be the center of the show again, reminicent of season 1. -Byler is going to be canon and I am going to write it very realistically from who I perceive the characters to be thus far. -I haven't written a fanfic in a while so please bear with me as I get back into writing -Enjoy!

There are 9 separate stories all ranging from 3.8K words - 10.4K words Basic Summaries: 1. A story of Mike discovering that Will is his person and what that means for his sexuality 2. Will thinks Mike has a crush on a girl only to realize a bit too late that they were already on a date 3. The same story as number 2, only from Mike's perspective instead (with some different scenes) 4. Mike knew what Will was saying with the painting in the van scene. When Will tells him he's the heart in reference to El, he thinks he might've been wrong. 5. Will accidentally starts flirting with Mike because he likes seeing him blush. Will doesn't fully realize the implications of that. 6. When Mike is confronted with the fact that Will hasn't had his first kiss he stupidly steps up to offer it to him. 7. Will tends to zone out around Mike, especially when it comes to the topic of dating. He realizes he missed an important discussion about that a little too late. 8. Byler celebrating 4 Christmases from the years of 1984 to 1987, starting as friends and growing into something more. 9. When Mike finds out Lucas is bisexual it helps him gain courage in coming out to him and telling Lucas about his feelings for Will. Lucas decides to help Mike get them together.

This is a Byler story, and it contains some cursing, (however I have tagged it out) and mild homophobia. This story takes place in the summer of 1986, when the party is about to go into sophomore year. They are 14-15 years old. Will Byers and his family never moved. Hopper never passed away. This is a Stranger Things story. Will is struggling with his love for Mike, but little does he know Mike loves him back. On their journey to become who they truly are they meet new Allie's, enemies and learn the truth about each other. But no matter what, Will and Mike can get through it together. Always and Forever.
