Jo didn't have a choice in moving to Hawkins, and she thought it would be the worst thing to ever happen to her. Everything changes when she meets the party, her group of friends that make it all worth it. I don't own any of the Stranger Things characters, only Jo. Jo is basically a modified version of Max Mayfield's character. I wanted to have some fun with it and make a couple of adjustments to Jo and who she is, so she isn't just a carbon copy of Max. However, her backstory and family is pretty much the same, minus some minor details. This story has lots of language in it, so if you're uncomfortable with that sort of thing I would suggest not reading.

Taking place in Hawkins, Indiana. 1985. I used a tiktok filter to write this so basically it decided all the the characters and I went from there. Filter is great co-author, I recommend. A foster child is new to the town and is new to their new family. They seem to fit in fine with the family and are also quickly scooped up into the endless drama the town produces.
