Life for Brando Sinclair had never been easy. He always felt as if his arms were being pulled tightly in every direction- never once letting him stop to enjoy the moment. He worked hard to get himself through high school and into his dream college, which wasn't an easy task. And now as a full time student, working a full time job, and being the voluntary hero of the city, he had never felt so lonely during the busiest years of his life. But the day he met Wilson Hain, a feeling in his chest told him it would be okay if he slowed down to enjoy the view for the first time in his life.

A 90 day competition. The winner takes it all. Wilson needs the prize money, not for himself, but for his mom and sister. Brando needs to prove himself to his father, or else. The Thornfield's and the Scott's have always been close, ever since Mary met Laura back in high school all those years ago. However, their sons, Wilson Thornfield and Brando Scott, have never seemed to get along. Wilson always found Brando to be loud and obnoxious. Brando always found Wilson to be too quiet and snarky. And every year, like clockwork, both families go to the woods for their yearly Christmas getaway. One week, one lodge, two families.
