Mike Wheeler: Another weirdo, nerd, frog face. Except his family seems perfect, parents are together, he has two sisters. He even has friends. But why is he always feeling so bad? Trapped? Like sadness and anger never leave him, always lingering in the back of his mind? The one person he can count on, suddenly disappears and now Mike can't figure out how to regulate himself anymore. And now that Will is back, he is getting worse. Byler endgame but there is also mileven since they do date in the show. This is a rewrite of stranger things because many were not happy with the finale (understandable) Most things in the earlier seasons will stay the same, but I am thinking of changing almost all of the lasts (especially s5). My first fic! This was created back in January, my writing style has changed a lot since writing this. In this fic, Mike is being stalked by Vecna, but in his mind he thinks his feeling of dread is due to him being queer. He tries to hide it, he tries to run away from Wills grasp, but everything sorts itself out.

Re-write/fix-it fic of sorts, for Stranger Things (Mike/Will -centric) Starts at the end of season 3, when the Byers' have just moved out. Mike's POV, what he got up to (in my mind), for those months in between season 3 and season 4. I'm planning on keeping the basic structure of s4 there but just altering the scenes that included Will and Mike. Not touching other plotlines as much. *Not sure of the exact date of the Byer's move, Stranger Things wiki would state they were living in Lenora from Oct '85 - March '86. Mike and Will have been together for a couple of years, even when distance made loving each other difficult. Will lives in Lenora Hills, California. Mike lives in Hawkins, Indiana. Somehow, they make it work. In the spring of 1990, Will comes home to Hawkins, and like most teens in love, their actions become reckless. By summer, Mike is placed in a position. A pregnant omega whose family head alpha is rejecting his unborn pup. So Mike runs. With only some cash, dreams, and clothes that he stole from friends and left behind by Will, he makes his way to California in the hopes of making it to the Byers' residence before his baby is born. Mike is willing to do everything he can to achieve that dream, because for once he wants to be the one to write the ending of his campaign. Even though there is a chance that there won't be a single waterfall.
