They weren't full of happiness anymore. She couldn't hide her upset gaze. Not like Billy. Billy was strong. At least, that's how he looked like. Strong and mean. Summer and Billy were neighbours. She always heard the fights in his house, and she was pretty sure he heard hers. Luckily Summer wasn't always getting hit, but as she always looked out the window when the argument next door finished, she always saw a beat up boy angrily walk to his car and storm off. One day their paths met after their angry parents fought, and that's when their life changed, just a bit.
