An alternative interpretation of the death of Dr. Ogden.

A politician, a reporter and a coroner all walk into a bar and witness an awful death... In Roaring Twenties Toronto, prohibition is in full swing but someone has taken to poisoning bootleg booze. The new Mayor's friend is dead in a posh speakeasy and Detective William Murdoch, a war veteran and nearly broken man, is charged with solving the high-profile crimes without getting him or his boss fired in the process. To do that he has to work with the newly-minted City Coroner, Dr. Julia Ogden, who isn't sure she wants the job, but has her own ideas about conducting a proper police inquiry. Meanwhile, the bodies are piling up, and love, death, betrayal and secrets beleaguer William and Julia, as they navigate corruption, their working relationship, and a killing spree (or two.)

Detective Watts is mentally fragile, that much has always been apparent. Especially to his colleagues at Station House Number 4. When he threatens to break completely, is Murdoch the only one who can save him from himself?

A quickie alternate scene. This is what I think should have happened in A Merry Murdoch Christmas.

In The Murdoch Identity, whilst making out with Anna, William remembers Julia in a dreamlike way. She appears to be wearing a camisole outdoors. This very short story takes place between seasons 2 and 3.

It was just a normal day in the Mindscape. Patton baking, Logan on his laptop, Roman fighting the dragon witch for like the 50th time. Virgil was in his room, listing to Panic! At The Disco, when a purple wormhole just popped up from nowhere, taking him to a giant mansion and away from his home. The one thing on his mind now, WHERE THE HELL IS HE AND HOW DOES HE GET BACK?! --- William Murdoch was working on the case of a murdered little girl. She was found by a creek and apparently strangled to death. He was walking around the crime scene when a purple portal popped up. Murdoch was sucked in and plopped in a garden of a sorts. Now, there is a new mystery he has to solve, How to get home. --- Tsuyu Asui was in her dorm room, just cleaning up a little. She put the broom down and looked around to admire her work. Just as Tsu sat down on her bed, there was an explosion. Deciding to investigate, she finds a purple wormhole. When Tsuyu is accidentally sucked in, She was dropped in a pond, with no way back to Japan. --- Shoyo Hinata was biking home from a volleyball meet. This one was especially tiring and Hinata was looking forward to the comfort of his bed. Although, that comfort would have to wait, as his bike was plunged into darkness, taking Shoyo with it. --- So I got this idea when I saw the Six Fanarts on Pinterest, thinking "What would happen if you threw all of these characters together?". None of the characters belong to me, nor do the shows they come from. Sanders Sides belong to Thomas Sanders, Murdoch Mysteries belongs to Maureen Jennings, My Hero Academia belongs to Kohei Horikoshi, and Haikyuu belongs to Haruichi Furudate. The Ships involved are Prinxiety, Murdoch x Ogden, Tokotsuyu, and Kagehina. !Warning! Violence, Swearing, and Gay Ships (If you don't like that, then don't read this.)

So Murdoch Mysteries has been one of my passions over the last year and a half and I've finally decided to write some of my not quite solid ideas down and post them.
