Detective William Murdoch has been throwing himself into his work to try and forget the heart break he suffered in Buffalo but it has yet to start working. That is until the daughter's of famed herpetologist, Dahlia Blaque, are attacked. Although William has worked with Dahlia briefly in the past he becomes fascinated by her.
