Sneak peek; "Can we get you anything for your ankle, Leesh?" Will asked her. "No." She answered, looking around at her children and her boyfriend. "I have everything I need right here." She said, Will leaned down and kissed her lips.

It's nearing midnight in Chicago on December 31st, Alicia and Will are at the same New Year's Eve party thrown by Diane. Both have no one to kiss when the clock strikes midnight but they're not speaking to each other, not since she and Cary left Lockhart?Gardner, so will a kiss at midnight mend all the heartbreak they'd put each other through?

Sneak peek: Will Gardner knew from that night that his heart belonged to Alicia Cavanaugh forever.

Sneak peek: She gets up and walks to where her lighter is, lighting the letter on fire, watching as the orange flames lick up the paper, devouring the words she's just written. She throws the letter into her empty trash can, watching as the letter curls into nothing but a blackened piece of paper, eventually the flame burns out, leaving behind a piece of paper with scorched words.

"I love you, Will. I'll love you forever." Alicia says in her sleep, snuggling deeper into his side. Will's heart stops for a second when he hears those words from her. All he's ever wanted is for Alicia to be happy and loved. And for her to be happy and loved with him is just a bonus, and she's both of those things with him and he couldn't be happier nor love her more.

Sneak peek: She collapses onto his blood covered chest, his blood sticking to her hair and face, half hoping to hear even the tiniest sound of his heartbeat thumping in her ear, like she's heard so many times. His heart is no longer beating. It hits her then: William Paul Gardner is dead.

They were tragedies once upon a time but not anymore.

Sneak peek: This part of him is a part of him that only Alicia has seen. Alicia has seen every part of him and didn't even so much as bat an eye when she witnessed this part of himself for the first time. She accepted every part of him- the good, bad, ugly, the dark and everything else in between. "You love me?" She asks. "I do, I love you so much, Leesh." He tells her.

Alicia takes on a case that's too personal for her to do alone. TRIGGER WARNING!

Sneak peek: They said he'd wake up tomorrow, so she sat beside his bed, her hand in his, waiting, waiting for tomorrow to come, waiting until his light brown eyes opened and he saw her staring at him with love in her brown eyes. When tomorrow finally comes, he'd know that she'll love him forever.

Sneak peek: "Leesh, is everything okay?" He asks, standing up in front of her. "One minute." She blurts out. One minute was a code word for the two of them that they used in Georgetown.

Sneak peek: He wanted you to know that even in death, he still loves you and is waiting for you, for when you can have good timing again. He still loves you, Alicia even in death." "I'll love you forever." She says a final time to his ghost, he smiles a crooked smile at her. "I'm okay with that." His ghost replies as he starts to slowly fade.

"You can leave, Will, but I'm not letting you go without a fight and it's going to be one hell of a fight, Will Gardner." She says as she leaves his office with tears falling down her face.

Sneak peek: "I'll love you forever." Alicia whispered to his ghost who she saw laying beside her in nothing but sweatpants and a smile on his face. Ghost Will tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear and kissed her lips for one final time. "I'm okay with that." Ghost Will said softly as he faded before her very eyes.

Sneak peek: "I'll love you forever." She whispers to him as she lowers her lips to his cold ones in their final ever kiss, until they reunite again in the afterlife. "I'm okay with that." She hears him say as she leaves him for the millionth time.
