It was taken when he promised Zach and Grace that he'd always take care of their mother like he'd always done. "I'll love you forever." His wife says in his ear. "I'm okay with that." He replies.

Sneak peek: The pieces of her broken heart have disappeared without a trace. There's been no evidence to confirm that they will ever return to her, or that they'll be found again. The pieces of her heart will be turned into nothing but the brittle bits of bone that will quickly become dust that will float away, like they never existed. Like her heart, that belonged to William Paul Gardner, didn't exist. But her heart has always belonged to Will, even when it stupidly belonged to Peter. She doesn't know if she'll ever find the pieces of her chipped heart, not that it really matters. She doesn't want the pieces of her chipped heart returned to her if Will Gardner is not the one who's returning them.
