Hey everyone! So this is essentially a re-write of the mall scene. This is if the parents have already left, although Dustin stayed behind. Also, El was never hurt in this fic! She did, however, lose her powers. This is a fanfic where Will Byers is gravely injured, and how the others deal with that situation. It is a bit full on, so I will put a TW on the following: Violence and (not quite) mental health issues. Abusive parents (mild reference) and swearing. However, if you're a fan of Stranger Things, you should be alright! This focuses on Will's relationship with other characters, and Byler can be taken either way.
