This story is based on the characters, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. They both are from the hunger games trilogy, which is a beautifully written series by Suzzane Collins. Willow mellark is the daughter of katniss everdeen (now mellark) and peeta mellark AKA 'the star crossed lovers from district 12' but this is sixteen year old Willow's love story.

We all know and love the beautifully written novel by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games. This dystopian series had quite a time to jump in the epilogue. Katniss and Peeta are in the meadow with their two children, but what happened before that? Read to see how I think their story would play out.

*THIS STORY IS UNDERGOING QUITE SOME EDITING, FOR NOW NOT ALL CHAPTERS WILL ALINE WITH EACHOTHER* This is my first fanfic book ever. This a story of Katniss' pregnancy with her baby Willow, and how she and peeta work through things.

After a failed rebellion, Katniss and Peeta are forced back into their celebrity lives in the Capitol. Snow makes sure they're broken and bending to his will, even forcing the two to marry and have children. The Games continue and their children get reaped in the latest games... where only one can come out alive.

When the daughter of the rebellion leaders works up the courage to speak to a hunter she shares her woods with, she doesn't realise how Finn Odair will tip over her world. Hunting and fishing lead to a bond that can never be broken. As Willow starts to piece together Finn, her district starts to fall apart. Now she must juggle several aspects of her upside down life while tending to Finns. Join her in her amazing journey through friendship, loss and stress as she struggles to resurface from her haunting sea of emotions.

16 year old Willow Mellark knows that something happens in her parent's past. Something awful. No one ever talks about Panem's history.
