I loved this book so much but couldn't stand the thought of Will going through with his plan so this is my version of events if he had changed his mind. This is a work in progress and I will update it as I can. But I want to keep the story as true to Will and Lou's character as possible. Any helpful constructive criticism would be nice, if you don't agree with something or think it's not true to the character please let me know and comment. This is my first fanfic and comments, constructive criticism, and votes are welcome.

Will Traynor never got hit and is still with the same girl. And Louisa Clark still works at the bakery she's been working at for 6 years now. I only saw the movie I will read the book. So I might base it more on the movie. Little spoilers. Not original idea copied from me before you. Un edited.

Louisa Clark is trying to breakup with her long-time-long-term-going-nowhere-boyfriend when she accidentally texts the wrong number. She doesn't know who the person is, or why they keep corresponding with her, but she comes to learn that they both seem to need one another more than they had thought. A "Me-Before-You" fan fiction, inspired by the Wolfstar fic "Text Talk."

I'm quite late to the party, but I finally read this book and handled the ending about as well as most other readers. For my own peace of mind, here is the ending I would have written.

Pensamentos, pensamentos... Acordamos e já pensamos que o dia vai ser longo. Tomamos banho pensando na vida. Passamos o dia pensando naquele alguém especial ou naquele trabalho que temos de fazer. Lou makes one last attempt to change things. "Will in a few days would no longer be there and she can't imagine it. She can't imagine not waking up and going to the annex and greeting Nathan and seeing Will. She can't imagine not spending her days with him and their endless banter. How empty everything would be without him. And no matter how many times she tried to picture a world without him she couldn't, and she ponders if sub consciously her mind was probably trying to protect her already broken heart. "

Louisa Clark thought its the end after Will Traynor's death. The clocks began to tick again when she received a scam email. And the rest of the story gave her life twists and turns. Who would have thought, the grave gave up the dead, when she met Andrew Burridge or shall we call you Mr. Andy Traynor?
