Will and Alyss had been tied together by fate since the day they were born. This is mostly a deep dive into their relationship throughout their early years. (orrr basically Halt trying to survive his wedding rehearsal, and Will making googly eyes across the room at the loveofhislife)

Missing for nearly a week, Will and Horace are found alive-- but barely. ---- "He could handle injuries, or trauma or death, but this... this waking death? This brain death? This slow, blank, agonizing unraveling of the boy he'd raised? It clawed painfully at something paternal in him. After a devastating defeat, Will and Horace find themselves suddenly waking up ten years in the past?? utter chaos, bamboozlement, and bewilderment ensue. (Sorry I have no idea how to describe this)

One day, a tall, dark-haired woman appears at Will's cabin. She claims to have lost something in the woods, and, fearing a boar in the area, she asks the Rangers to retrieve it for her. But who is this woman, and what secrets does she hide? Soon after, Will and Maddie are sent on a new mission: Baron Farrell of Caraway has been murdered. Who killed Farrell? Gilan, despite his years being an apprentice, has always unable to shake the loneliness and sense of isolation that comes with being a Ranger. But his life quickly changes when a stranger arrives in the woods with a message from Crowley about something, or someone, needing he and Halt's protection from Morgarath.

Hi. So these are a bunch of short stories about various Ranger's Apprentice characters. I'm going to try to stay as much to the storyline as I could, I'm not going to pretend that Alyss had a child and whatnot. Takes place after the Emperor of Nihon-Ja and the Blood of Olympus Percy Jackson is your everyday Greek Hero. Slaying monsters, roaming the underworld, defeating Titan Lords and Earth Primordials, surviving Tartarus. You know, the usual. His heroism has put him at the top of every monster's kill list. His loyalty makes him a great friend to all. His achievements bring awe into the eyes of his allies. He's been through everything anyone could think of. But even he couldn't see what was coming next. Will Treaty. The Ranger who was apprenticed to the legendary Halt. The apprentice who forged a treaty between the notorious Skandians and Araluen. He is famous across the country, and even elsewhere, places like Arrida and Nihon-Ja. An air of mystery wraps itself around the youth like the mottled cloak of a Ranger. He and his friends have fought for the good of their country and others. Never have they had to fight for the sake of another time. Grimsdell Wood, the forest surrounding Castle Macindaw and the home of Malcolm and his people, has been said to be haunted for years. Little under a year ago, people started disappearing. They would wander into the forest and never be seen again. Rumor had it that Malkallam would snatch them in the dark. Only a select few know that the forest is not actually haunted, but a figure of tricks and illusions. Still, villagers would disappear. Not even Malcolm knows to where. Always the Ranger, Will, along with Halt, Princess Cassandra, Horace, and Alyss investigate. Only to disappear as well. How will Araluen survive without its saviors? The better question : What will happen when our favorite Medieval Legend and Greek Hero collide in an epic race against time? Author's Note : Please pretend that Will is around the same age as Percy, even though he should be much older.

Will and Evalyn are kidnapped to Skandia, where they are separated and sold as slaves. However, this story is a bit different. Erak is already an Oberjarl and has recently established new laws to improve the lives of slaves. Despite this, the village Will ends up in doesn't seem to follow those laws. Will he survive until help arrives? Will help arrive at all? In the kingdom of Araluen, things are also not quite the same as we know them. Based on the 3rd and 4th books by John Flanagan, this is a completely reimagined story. Because why not? I don't own any rights to John Flanagan's novels, nor do I make any profit from them. I simply give free rein to my imagination and write whatever comes to mind, inspired by his works. You'll meet familiar characters from the books here, as well as some I've invented. The same goes for places. As mentioned, the action is set during the events of books 3 and 4 - but with a completely different twist. Enjoy reading. I hope you'll like it :-)

Rangers apprentice fanfiction. This story contains spoilers if you haven't read all the rangers apprentice books from John Flanagan yet. The world and most of the characters aren't from me either but from him, the only characters that are mine are: Missy, Ricky and Casper. The story: Will and Alyss are happily married and have 2 children, Missy and Ricky. As the children of the best ranger from Araluen they don't have a boring life, from almost dying when you're just 5 to running away from home with when you're 14 and getting kidnapped.... I haven't written this whole fan fiction by my self, the cover is made by @RickyTreaty4 (i know the title is still in Dutch, it took her so long to make it and just to change the text will take her so long, you have to live with it. Don't get all mad at me if i make grammer mistakes or any kind of mistakes, English isn't my first language, and i read the book in Dutch, so some names where different, cause i wrote this fan fiction in Dutch first i just copy paste it into google translate, I then read it an try to get out most of the mistakes and names that are wrong, but there of course is a change i missed something. An old nightmare from Will's past comes back to haunt him. This nightmare inflicts all sorts of horrors on him while his friends try desperately to get to him in time.

On the morning of their tenth wedding anniversary, Will appears to have forgotten about the special day entirely. Despite her disappointment, Alyss moves on with her day just as normally. However, as usual, Will has more tricks up his sleeves than his wife gives him credit for.
