A modern AU where the characters attend boarding school. Cinder, Cress and Iko arrive at boarding school for another year, but instead of arriving to Cinders cousin Winter, Cress finds that this year she'll be sharing a room with the new girl Scarlet. Between school, friends, crushes and a mysterious street fighter the girls must find out what's happened to Winter. Meanwhile Cress tries to uncover the secrets between charming Carswell Thorne and Cinder, while being mercilessly drawn to him, Scarlet needs to know why her grandmother sent her away, Cinder navigates the web of the school social system when approached by one of the most popular boys in school and Iko tries to discover who she really is. --- I've had to change some of the characters ages for the sake of the story, and obviously Cinder isn't cyborg and Thorne and Scarlet also have all of their fingers. Iko is also human. Characters belong to the wonderful Marissa Mayer. I don't own the concept the boarding school, the English language or the earth either, just in case you thought I was that fabulous. Carswell Thorne however...

Now was the time to swoop in with the antidote and save the day. The thaurmaturges, government, and Levana want Selene to use the antidote to force the new Emperor Kai into a marrige alliance. Selene had always felt sympathy for the planet her aunt sent the disease to. And now that the marriage alliance is being seen through, she feels even worse for her aunt being responsible for the death of her future husband's father.

Carswell Thorne is looking forward to finding out his soulmate, In fact, he can't wait to find out. Unfortunately, it's not who he thought. Meanwhile, Cinder Linh is in denial with the fact her soulmate is Kaito the son of the mayor. Meanwhile, Levana's plan to become mayor of the settlement might actually become a reality.
