Winds Stories

I see her, standing there, her hair covered in snowflakes, her thin sweat shirt covering her face and arms, her skinny jeans ripped and tattered. Why was she standing out here? In this unbearable cold, me standing here bundled up in a large winter coat. Her standing there all alone and cold. It pains me to see her shivering as she walks over to sit down on a bench. As if she was waiting for something. Someone to come find her and take her to a better place. I could see her eyes to clearly, even from a distance. Her beautiful blue eyes shining I'm the light of the day. I hear my name being called by my friend, I look at him and raise a brow. By the time I look back she's gone... © 2015

The never ending cycle of pushing back and forth against the currents of life. Will those fresh salty currents bring new changes?

Feather Sordruh, is a 17 year old girl ready to be more then a flightless bird and join the ranks of the Kahja, her Wind tribes warriors. However, soon the young dream seems foolish when her home is ravished and a new life begins. (This is just the first bit of my fantasy story.)

A short random thought about a grey sky on an April afternoon.

I had never been put under the category of normality. And when wings sprout from my back my life goes from abnormal to otherworldly. I discover my mother is an alien to Earth and that I am of the same species. I am a Soul, a being that wields the elements and so much more. But with great powers comes great secrets, adversaries and obstacles. And I'm determined to overcome them all. But first I have to learn how to fly.
