She is joined by Chara Dreemurr, The Child of Golden Flowers, who is a mere spirit and becomes a true friend to Frisk as she helps her along her journey through the Underground. Frisk is determined to free Monster-Kind from The Underground that they have been trapped in for 400 years, and, with the help of Chara Dreemurr, will do whatever she can to free the Monsters from the Underground that they have called home for so long, and show them the light on the surface.
