Oh, she couldn't wait to be free from the rock they called a home. ~It has to work without a prophecy this time~ For as long as Shiver has lived, she and her friends were given one purpose: To repeat the successes of ancient history and end the war between Pyrrhia and Pantala. But before she can do any of that, Shiver must learn how to be a proper IceWing. It's what her tribe would expect if her, isn't it? How else is she meant to make her lost family proud? When the dragonets are captured and brought to the exact frozen wasteland Shiver was meant to call home, she soon learns that the perfect, lavish lifestyle described in the scrolls may be nothing but fantasy. Flora isn't safe, and with dangers lurking everywhere, she must find out the truth about the two tribes...and herself.

20 years have passed since the Pantalan War. Five years since a secret drove Winter away from his friends. However, after a chance encounter in the Rain Kingdom, Winter realizes that he may have left things far more broken than he intended...

Since Venom was just a dragonet, a war between ToxicTails and WeatherTails killed his and his best friend's (crush) parents. Although the war is over, he's been training to become the leading general and plans to find the dragon who killed Venom and Acid's parents. Soon his combat teacher recommends him to the queen as a general. He and Acid are assigned to a group of other dragons his age who are the best and youngest generals to help him which includes a WeatherTail. Apparently, they have to embark on a mission to find this life-threatening flower. But the mission is a tricky one. A dragon has found a plant that is a threat to the continent. Rumor has it, that a village is infected. To make things worst, the Queen is one of them. Venom and Acid, along with his group, have to find the plant before it is a rising threat.

Frostburn didn't think anything could've gone wrong. Because she was happy, and every dragon was happy. There were no evil queens, heirs, animus', or dragons possessed by plants. She loved her life. Her friend, mother. Alright, maybe it was a little lonely living with her paranoid mother and her worry of someone taking advantage of her powers. But she had her reasons, Frosty was sure of it. Even if she didn't agree with her, because, duh, every dragon was good until they proved otherwise. But it makes her wonder, as her mother gets closer to uncovering she's friends with another dragon- interacting, which is a no-no! for... some reason. It makes her wonder what she'll do. It's even scarier when one queens little, tiny decision, could cost her own life. And it might just be her fault. ------------------ The series Wings of Fire does not belong to me. It is written by Tui T. Sutherland. This book is only set in the rules of the world- the tribes, culture, continents, etc. All that belongs to me is the characters and plot. Tenebris just had her seventh hatching day, which was very confusing. Why all the sudden lectures on loyalty to the tribe, and more specifically, the Alpha? Even more confusing is her new assignment, which came from the Alpha himself.
