One month before the next winter cup, kagami taiga of seirin high, their "ace", gets injured playing street ball, the doctor said he can't play for the next 3 months, around the same time as the winter cup goes for. The team is shocked, not knowing what to do, but luckily kagami has a friend my the name of Stephen from America, on an exchange program along with others, who, he says, "has the ability to become a generation of miracle". I'm sure you have heard of the phantom sixth man Kuroko Tetsuya before. But have you heard of the Generation of Miracles seventh player? Well I'm sure you have I mean she is the Basketball Empress. Emiko Archer She used to play with the colourful bunch of basketball players. But after all of them slowly started changing, she decided to leave for America. And didn't come back until a year later. But now that she's back, she has to face her former teammates, while making new ones at the same time. Won't this girl ever catch a break? Kurasaki Rin is a girl who loves basketball with her all. Returning to Japan after living her whole life in America, Rin attends Seirin high school disguised as boy to be able to play in the boy's basketball club. That was when she meets Seirin's shadow and light. She then participates in their promise to become the best in Japan and to win the Winter Cup. After many encounters she meets the Generation of Miracles one by one. But what will happen when they find out that "he's" a she ? will it be just basketball or will there be love involved? The cover picture is a drawing of Rin, made by me. When you look at the Generation of Miracles, what do you see? Some see a generation of talented ball players, some might see a group of prodigies, but what some might not see or notice is that this group of miracles also represent the colors of the rainbow, also known as ROYGBIV. But something is missing from this rainbow of players. Where are the players of orange and indigo? Where are these two forgotten players of Teikō Junior High? Ryōsuke Akiohoji is one of these two missing Miracles. His color is Indigo and you can say he's a dull mixture of the colors on both sides of him. He can be sometimes childish like Atsushi Murasakibara, but can be just as passionate and head-strong as Daiki Aomine. His best friend is Shou Orenjiro, the two are like brothers and are just as close. When it was time to enter high school Shou and Ryōsuke are forced to go their own way. Although they see each other due to their schools being so close Shou and Ryōsuke are in the process of finding out who they really are. Going through relationships and heartbreaks, but it's through these trials that these two will see that who they are is what the other needs. Kuroko Koyuki was very much similar and different to her cousin Kuroko Tetsuya. They both had a burning passion for the basketball. Nanami wanted nothing other than wanting to ran away from him for eternity. So when the two were separated after middle school, Nanami though everything is finally in place. Guess what? She was dead wrong. Nanami thought by entering Seirin, the chances of seeing him would be close to none. She has never been so wrong about anything but she is dead wrong about this. Her past glory back in Teiko although did made her happy at one time back then but now, the achievements from that means nothing but sufferings and painful memories for Nanami and the Emperor of Teiko, Akashi Seijuro. Even if she never wanted her thread to be intertwined with his, the Fates are mischievous ladies as they kept spinning the threads of life with much intent of wanting nothing more for Nanami and Akashi Seijuro to clear things up between them. They were given so many chances. Too many too count. Yet they wasted every single one of them. How is that even possible? Who knows? But, after a while, the Fates themselves are starting to get tired of the same charade repeating themselves again and again. The threads that were spun to intertwine with one another, will the Fates just decide to snap the two off each other or the just let the threads be? Who knows? But one thing for sure, these two certainly have wasted tons of chances given. Tons.
