After a year, Bucky returns from Wakanda, expecting to reclaim a little of his life at a time, is completely thrown for a loop when he finds a teenager he has too much experience with. Peter Parker has been alone for some time now. Dr. Strange's spell was a success. No one knows who he is. It's better this way, right? Until one day he runs into a grumpy yet scarily familiar man with a metal arm. Bucky doesn't do any form of relationships. He's lost too many people. Peter is desperate for human connection, but he's terrified of wanting it. He's lost too many people. An ex-super-soldier too protective for his own good. A teenager-turned-hero too reckless for his. Their lives are too messy. Too dangerous. But they're all the other has. And despite their better judgement, they form a bond. Bucky would do anything for that kid. Especially kill anyone who dares hurt him. Peter would risk his life for the man he considers almost like another father.

this takes place of winter soldier and the falcon when bucky brings the cake you know that scene. anyway, bucky moves in with the other avengers in the tower after the party, and tony mentions a kid interning at the tower. when bucky sees the kid they start to get close. so close to the point where they look like brothers.(don't be a bitch in the comments or you can) ENJOY!
