This book is a really crazy, fun and not so touching story of a girl and her cousin who got sucked up in a whole other world of partialy mortal creatures and fun and of course how will it be crazy without some action! And don't worry evil takes a peep in the action too!

If you have heard of the story wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson then you will understand. That book really hit me hard. It made me realise how unhealthy I was. How unhealthy our relationship was. I loved her. But it was killing me. She just kept pulling me back into the snow. This is my wintergirl story.

Kiara woke up to a blanket of snow outside her window. Today she finally got to wear her new HaloLuxe knit hat and scarf set. It was pastel pink with tiny embroidered flowers, soft and warm like a gentle hug. She tied her hair into a small ponytail and added one of her favourite winter hair accessories a white knitted bow clip that looked just like a snowflake. It matched her outfit perfectly. Downstairs, her teen sister Tara was already waiting in her lavender knit hat and scarf set. You look so cute Kiara Tara smiled. You look like a winter fairy Kiara giggled back. At the park, the girls played in the snow. Their hats stayed snug, their scarves warm, and their winter hair accessories didn't slip once. Other girls came over to admire their cute winter look. Where did you get these asked one. HaloLuxe Kiara said proudly. As they walked home with rosy cheeks and warm smiles, Kiara thought that winter felt even more magical when you had cozy accessories that made you feel cute and confident.

How do these tales of woe and misery usually start? With a creaking door, or the whistling wind, or even a blinking eye. Sometimes, they begin on a dark and wintery night.

Ireland is completely enthralled by April Winters. A tragic, beautiful, thin, dizzy girl in her school. Ireland amplifies her own ordinariness in the existence of April who seems to encompass everything Ireland wishes to be. Inside Ireland's lonely innocent mind she has romanticised this girl until April no longer seems human but instead some magic being, an angel or a fairy. When April crumbles, Ireland begins to lose sight of reality and it isn't long before people around them start to notice the insanity brewing inside the two separate girls. It's hard to remain sane when people call into question your very existence and impossible death becomes your only escape.
