Malg has come all the way from the Dragontail Mountains to study at the College of Winterhold and is expecting to amaze his teachers and dispel the notion that orcs make poor wielders of magic. However, his life at the college does not go exactly as he might have expected.

A companion novella set in the Divine Blessed world-where not everyone chosen by the gods is saved. Thirteen years old is too young to watch a world end. When a sacred rite fails, an ancient people are erased in a single night-gods, blood, and ice swallowing everything Katya has ever known. Helvia Abgrall, a naïve and restless young Breton farm girl, leaves her comfortable and uneventful life at her family's farmstead in High Rock in hopes of attending Skyrim's College of Winterhold, as she longs to learn more about magic and how to use it, as well as to improve upon her own natural aptitude. However, she's anything but prepared for the journey that lies ahead of her. She's inexperienced, clueless, nearly incapable of fending for herself, and her lack of common sense is almost unreal. However, she's determined to make a better life for herself than the one she had before, and her resolve alone might just be enough to help her reach her goal. Well, that is, if things were going in her favor to begin with. There is another force that seeks to divert her path to a less pleasant venue, and it is far stronger than she is. In order to keep herself from losing sight of why she even left home in the first place, she'll have to stay ahead of a surprisingly powerful, on-the-rise faction in a foreign land - and she won't be able to do that alone. This aspiring mage will travel alongside pickpockets and pariahs, mercenaries and monarchs, and many more intriguing inhabitants of the province of Skyrim on the way to achieving her dream - and, just maybe, she'll befriend a few of them along the way way. But her path will not be an easy one - at least, not the one that she's hoping to take. She will have to make sacrifices and learn to adapt to unfavorable outcomes, and, in the end, she may learn that following her dreams might not be in her best interest.

Reminder- Almost none of this is actual canon. Remember that a fanfic is called that because it is not real. --- Ancano is usually not very well liked in the Skyrim community, but I still wanted to create a fanfic to get my mind off it. --- The Reader character is not named Y/n. None of my Reader characters are, so not very surprising. Cade Hammerfist is a Redguard from Hammerfell, immigrating to Skyrim in search of the fabled "Gloves of the Pugilist." Cade used to be the best boxer in Hammerfell, but after he was crippled, defeated, and slandered by a rival he strives to be on top again, what ever it takes. (This is a Skyrim fanfiction, and while I do use some of my original characters, the majority are credit to Bethesda) Ferin Juelwulf, a Breton residing in Whiterun has always leaned on the side of safety, and the side of safety has often provided all. Skyrim book based off my current play through with more plot added, character is Ace/Aro but some fluff scenes.

The MadGod likes to mess with mortal affairs, so why is that we are only now hearing about those stories? Heh, I don't know. Ask your helmet. If it doesn't answer, throw lettuce at it. If you have no lettuce, then just watch Farkas chase his tail and be entertained for an undetermined amount of time.
