I wrote this piece of Flash Fiction set in the Other System's Universe for Sallie Lundy Frommer's Blog during 12 Authors of December Event 2013. In the theory of relativity, time dilation is an actual difference of elapsed time between two events as measured by observers that occurs if one or both of them are traveling at high velocities.

Taking all the wild time I had during the days I, was free. Feeling the cool breeze as the cold showers are thrown, getting one wet and fuzzy. Looking into those days the mourner shrieks down. While everything turns out of the blue, while we wait in the path we partake. Thinking about you can be a zone-out clue. A story about acceptance, love, respect, and most importantly, letting go and moving on.
