This book is largely based upon events surrounding the Winter War of 1939-1940 between the USSR and Finland. You'll follow it through the eyes of a Finn named Aatto Ovaska as he seeks to take revenge for the Soviet invasion of his home village-Terijoki. This is my first story, I'd appreciate any comments on what I'm doing right:)! In a far land from Equestria, this place filled with snow, has a war with Equestria each Winter. Princess Celestia sends 7 ponies to that place to fight. Those ponies are.... Princess Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer. The ponies split up in 2 groups to go in a base and try to make shelter, and fight the bad guys. Don't forget that they have to run each time they see a bad guy because there is a lot of em'. Will these bad guys win? 'Ghosts don't exist!' Jared heard one of the Soviet's snap exasperatedly. 'There's one in these hills,' His friend grinned. 'They call him the Finnish Ghost. Legend said we killed him and he's back for revenge.' Jared smiled to himself silently. He brough up his pistol and fired it between their two heads. Both of them snapped upright in alarm, spinning around. Shouts of alarm and surprise echoed throughout the camp. The first soldier's eyes landed on him, and his eyes widened. His mouth gaped. 'I do exist,' Jared said, in his broken Russian. 'I'm right behind you.'

During the Winter War there were those who left their home never to return, for their fatherland they will fight until their last breath. Tino Väinämöinen did not want to die but he did not want to be left behind either.
