After leaving Jade Mountain Winter's heart has been aching to see the dragon he loves, Moon. But his new life in Sanctuary has other plans for him and his love of scavengers is steadily growing, distracting him from his other thoughts. When he looks back on his adventures with his friends from the Jade Winglet his mind always focuses on a certain NightWing... along with a rather annoying SandWing... he hopes to see Moon again but his new life in Sancuary might as well be putting him on the moons, far far away from his friends.... and the one dragon he loves. Quick Note ~ This is a second version of a different really bad story that I did also called Frozen truth. I do not own wings of fire or any of the art.

Moon is starting a new school. After moving from her small town to this big city, she doesn't know if she can handle it. Winter is alone. That might have been his decision, but it was better this way. If he wanted to work his way up his families ranks, he has to stay focused, and that doesn't include meeting a new girl filling up all his headspace. Kinkajou is trying to hide her feelings. Her parents died over ten years ago. Her method of dealing with it: stay positive. Turtle is forgotten. His mother barely even knows he exists and his sister is starting to pretend he doesn't. Until he meets an unlikely group of friends, he isn't going to come into the spotlight. Qibli has a mother who hates him. Sure, he moved out to go live with Thorn a while ago, but it still hurt that his mother wouldn't accept him. He didn't even find it funny that karma finally hit her. Well, it was a little funny.

(Other drama from high school as well) After that, Moon has a stalker. He was an old friend from high school who once loved her, but he got betrayed because Winter won her heart..... How to get a girl to like you? You never know a girl's mind. Many male characters in wings of fire has problem with girls. They all think girls are so "complicated". Few characters go meet the mysterious new dragon, Lavender, so they can understand a girl's feeling. There will be ship stories in this fanfiction.
