This story starts right after Moon had told her friends about her powers. But in this timeline, someone else heard it too. I'm going to be completely honest, this started as just a project for school, but I decided to post it here to see what the WoF community thinks of it. Little tidbit, some of the paragraphs are taken directly from Moon Rising, just wanted to explain that before someone calls for my head on a stick. Winter goes back to Jade Mountain, and he's in the Jade Winglet again. When Jade Mountain needs a replacement for Icicle, Queen Snowfall sends Lynx to the academy. It has been 5 years since the events of the first book. Moon is now engaged to Qibli, and the two couldn't be happier. The wedding is set for three weeks after Qibli's birthday, but, unfortunately, someone has other plans... Glory and Deathbringer are struggling to keep their relationship under control. Ever since the attack on Glory five years ago, their love was built on overprotection and fear, aside from care and compassion. Just as the relationship starts to go the way they want it, another strike lands... Tsunami and Moon met at the hospital, after Moon had gotten knocked out, and ever since, the two were inseparable. Tsunami's younger sister, Shell, had died of a terrible sickness. Her other younger sister, Aquamarine, died of a heart attack a few months ago. It seemed like the Ocean family was cursed with bad luck. And more was coming... Kinkajou has been racked with worry ever since her mother called and said she was in jail. Since then, no calls, texts, warnings, or clues about what had happened to her. And this raises questions about who her father is...and what kind of people her parents really are. As the couples and families drown under murders, deaths, sadness and violence, there's a possibility not all of them will survive...or any of them, for that matter.

After Jade Academy, Winter begins to build a village dedicated to the study of scavengers. With all of his work, Winter has a lot from the past on his mind. To clear his head he decides to go for a walk. Little did he know, life as he knew it would all change.

After losing everything Winter decides to try and go into hiding but he realizes that not everyone left the old nightwing kingdom, and now he must set out to keep his new tribe safe and defend his kingdom.
