How did things get so messed up? Why did fate make us this way, hopeless to be ourselves again. This isn't what was supposed to happen to us! Where is our happy ending! This is an old story from a past account, so you'll have to forgive me if it's a little rough. It's about my theory for the origin of 'The Beast' from Over The Garden Wall

Over the Garden Wall, and deep into the woods, there is a garden. Wirt never thought, not even in his wildest dreams, that he would return to the woods. Not after Greg almost turned to Edelwood. Of course, that was before Beatrice's brother turned up on Wirt's doorstep begging for their help. Wirt must return to the woods in order to save Beatrice and her little sister. But not everything is so black and white. The beast has returned and the Garden Wall is under threat. Both worlds, the woods and the town, are in danger. It is up to Wirt to save them all. Better be ware, The beast is out there, Better be wise, Don't believe his lies.

He left it to one of Sara's classmates. It was in her jacket. In the graveyard, Sara and her gang are gathered for the hangout. Wirt and Greg efforts to retrieve the tape yet failed. The police came to the graveyard. They tried to get away from the cop. Sara and her friends, including Wirt and Greg got separated. One day later, Sara has gone missing. Wirt has been having nightmares. And his parents are shipping him out to Oregon for the summer with his stepbrother to "recover from the incident". Norman just realized he was gay. And he's being forced to go on an across the country camping trip with his friend Neil to "put himself out there". Dipper just survived the apocalypse. And him and his sister are being shipped out to Gravity Falls for another summer, seeing "how well it worked last time". None of this is a coincidence. Artwork on the cover is not mine.

Wirt has been offered a deal by the beast, and he knows he cannot refuse. He has to save his brother. He roams the forest endlessly, the beasts eyes forever watching, peeping through the trees... but with his best friend Beatrice by his side, and his brothers soul in the lantern... they're together, alone.

Upon trying to find his way home, Wirt stumbles across a cute neighborhood in a large clearing of the forest with small farms, almost like the villages you'd see in Minecraft. it being late, Wirt and his brother are offered a place to stay overnight by a girl named (y/n) (l/n). But when the beast shows up later, everything clicks together, and Wirt realizes theres something about her that he never thought would be.

Wirt has been down since moving into a new town, he wasn't very social so he doesn't have many friends. He meets an even more antisocial person that seems determined to be in his life.

Dipper and Mabel go and visit their grunkles for the holidays. All seems calm until Ford pulls Dipper aside, telling him of some new mystery that he's found not too long ago. He asks Dipper to help him investigate, and little can prepare him for the surprise that awaits him..

After a second accident a year after their first adventure in the Unknown, Wirt and Greg are sent spiraling back into this mysterious land. This story follows their adventure to get back. Contains Infinite Eyerolls :)

(Over the Garden Wall is a short cartoon ran by Cartoon Network, so if you haven't seen it yet, I really recommend it!) This is about Wirt discovering who they are, whether they're male or female, or somewhere in the between. (this is a school AU, so nothing that happened that was over the wall occurs in this story line)
