Pamela McCloud can make everything she wants come true. It’s like having a genie, minus the three-wishes-only rule, of course. All she has to do is say what she wants at night and when she wakes up the next morning, she’ll get it. As a teenager, she takes advantage of that ability and starts asking for all the superficial things she could think of. Popularity, friendship, love, pain, and a jumble of wishes make her a different person (and definitely not a better person).
