The ocean is sick. Esmé is sicker. And somewhere between dreams and waking, something is stealing crowns. Esmé is living with a severe bone condition that draws her life inward, while everything around her quietly unravels. Friends drift without goodbye. Her father returns after five years of silence, present but unreachable, as if distance has become a second language neither of them knows how to unlearn. In Pelagia, grief does not announce itself. It accumulates, like salt in the throat, like weather that refuses to pass. The Sea is spoken of as though it remembers, as though it keeps what the town cannot hold. Then Luna arrives with a wish. Not a cure, not a repair, but something that bends the edges of what is possible. Something that might change the Sea itself, though nothing in Pelagia comes without cost. And still, something is stealing crowns. A story about grief, growing up too fast, and learning how to love a world that might never be saved.

My story of my almost love. Someone I would have done anything for. Someone who didn't love me in true. Someone who only wished to watch me burn. Let this be a trigger warning for mature and heavy content. Severe mental health issues, drug use, suicide, death, eating disorders, and self harm will be mentioned.

The words I wish they would tell me (but I know they won't). UPDATE: Hi! This is me now. I'm not so angsty anymore (at least I hope I'm not)! I still have feelings for this person, but thankfully it's mellowed out into something more manageable.

"They tell you you're a shooting star, and you believe them. You get used to the praises, to people pointing at your trajectory, predicting a brilliant future. But what happens when the star doesn't want to burn that way anymore? When it plummets, not in a blaze of glory, but in a slow, silent fizzle?"

We all have that star we would expect to see at night. What if someone is also watching that star, baka siya yung maging Mr. Destiny mo. Lahat naman talaga ay tinadhana sa lahat na gawin naatin. When you see a shooting star, wish mo kaagad na sana mangyari yan. Kahit di na natin alam kung saan na tayo, we won't give up. pagdating sa kanya, you may be hurt, be loved, get caught, and feel your wish come true. Kahit noon pa yun pinapangarap at makalimutan mo na, yung puso ma ay maging utak and you will remember all the things you did.
