Maria and Noah have been best friends for a long time. Forever, it seems. They have always been there for each other, through good times and bad. Even when it felt like Maria's life was falling apart at the seams after the death of her father, Noah was there. But what happens when Noah is no longer just a bike-ride away? ***************** This short story is told through something I like to call snapshots: a collection of single scenes, disjointed fragments of a story. Individually they don't tell us much, but together they make a single narrative. Please let me know what you think! If there is enough interest, I may add more snapshots than what I have planned, or may even turn it into a full-fledged story. PS: I do not own the photo on the cover.
